Who makes these lessons
Who makes the L-ASINAUT lessons, how they are drafted and checked, and how to report a mistake. Fees and limits come from L-Guard's code or its dated rules record, and every rule shows its date.
L-Guard
L-ASINAUT is made by L-Guard, which builds tools for Amazon sellers at l-guardapp.com, such as the listing limits checker and the profit calculator. The title counter and the glossary use dated copies of the same listing and fee code that runs those tools.
Lesson pages are signed “By L-Guard”. We do not invent authors, photos or credentials.
How lessons are made
Lessons are drafted with an AI model (Claude), mostly from Amazon’s help pages and Amazon’s posts on its seller forums. Each lesson’s Sources list gives, for each fact, its source and its date when there is one, or says that the fact is not confirmed yet. It also marks facts that rest on sellers’ public screenshots or posts, or on an L-Guard check. Fees, limits and rule dates on a lesson page come from L-Guard’s fee and listing code or from its dated rules record; any other number names its source.
The examples use made-up products, brands and IDs. They are not real listings or real stores.
How facts are checked
- Rules with dates
- Each Amazon rule a lesson uses is a record with its start date when Amazon gives one, the date we last checked it and its sources. Changes are listed on L-Guard’s rule changes page.
- Numbers from code and the rules record
- Fee and limit numbers are taken from L-Guard’s fee and listing code or its dated rules record. The glossary fills them in from there when the page is built, and the title counter runs the code itself; where lesson text repeats such a number, its Sources row names the rule or the code it comes from.
- Open questions stay open
- When we could not confirm something, the page says so (“Needs verification” or “Not confirmed on a public Amazon page yet”, or, in the Where things moved table, “Not confirmed on a public page yet”) and does not present it as an Amazon rule.
- Screens change
- Pages about the seller account layout say when we read Amazon’s pages, for example “UI as of Oct 2026”. A place we know only from sellers’ screenshots is marked as such.
Corrections
If you find a mistake or a rule that has changed, email support@l-guardapp.com with the page address and what is wrong. We check it against Amazon’s current page, correct the lesson and change the “Updated” date on the page.
