1. Introduction

L-Guard ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform at l-guardapp.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and name (if provided). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use our tools, including which features you access, timestamps, and tool usage counts. This helps us improve our service.

Review data: When you use ReviewShield, the review text and optional screenshot you submit are sent to Anthropic for AI analysis. The screenshot is not stored. The review text, product name, review URL and the report are saved to your account so you can reopen the report from your dashboard. The free review rule check runs in your browser and sends nothing.

Saved reports: When you run a paid tool, the report is saved to your account (in our Supabase database, readable only by your account through Row Level Security) so you can reopen it from your dashboard and compare it with your next run. Depending on the tool, the saved report includes what you entered: the listing text in Listing Studio; Amazon's notice, your answers and actions in Account Shield, and for a revision the previous letter and Amazon's reply (a pasted notice can contain a rights owner's contact details); product dimensions, price and unit cost in Fee Optimizer; totals and the top search terms in PPC Audit; the claims found, with their ledger events, in Refund Recovery; and the per-ASIN plan (ASIN, SKU, product name and the computed numbers) in Restock Planner. Report files you add to PPC Audit, Refund Recovery and Restock Planner are read in your browser and are not uploaded. Profit Calculator, Cash Flow Calculator and the free checkers run in your browser and send nothing.

Chrome extension data: If you install the free L-Guard Chrome extension and sign in, it reads the Seller Central pages you open and syncs this data to your account: account health metrics (ODR, Late Shipment Rate, Cancel Rate, Account Health Rating, policy-violation count and Voice of the Customer status); Voice of the Customer product data for flagged products (ASIN, product name, NCX rate, CX Health status, top negative-experience reason); customer review data for your products (rating, review text, date, author name as shown publicly, verified-purchase status); inventory data (ASIN, SKU, product title, inventory count, FBA fee, suppressed status); and listing data for the listings you open (title, bullets, description, backend keywords, suppression and Buy Box status). It never reads your Amazon password or payment details and never changes anything in Seller Central. The data is stored in your account (Row Level Security) to show your dashboard, account health history and alerts.

Arbiqor review data: When you use Arbiqor, our AI review-compliance tool, the browser extension reads public Amazon review pages for the ASINs you add. The review content, ratings, AI analysis, and the appeal drafts generated for you are stored in your account so you can review, edit, submit, and track outcomes. This data is isolated to your account via Row Level Security and can be deleted at any time.

Anthropic API key (Arbiqor): To use Arbiqor's AI features, you provide your own Anthropic API key. We encrypt it using AES-256-GCM before storing it and decrypt it only server-side, transiently, at the moment an AI task runs on your behalf. We never store or log it in plain text, never display it back to you, and never use it for any purpose other than running your own review classification and appeal drafting. Anthropic bills you directly for your usage. You can replace your key at any time in the Arbiqor dashboard; to delete it, email support@l-guardapp.com.

Payment data: Payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers or payment details. Paddle handles all payment information under their own privacy policy.

Your account data is stored on Supabase (hosted in EU - Ireland). We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth.

AI analysis is performed via Anthropic's API. Review data sent for analysis is processed under Anthropic's data handling policies and is not used to train AI models.

For Arbiqor users, your Anthropic API key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a secret held only in our server environment - never in the database. A plaintext key exists only transiently in server memory during an active AI request, and is never persisted or written to logs.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to maintain your login session, store language preferences, remember your cookie consent choice, and keep a random visitor ID that lets us count unique page views in our own database (page path, referrer and your browser's user-agent string — no name or email). If you click Decline in the cookie banner, we stop counting your visits and delete that visitor ID from your browser. We do not use advertising pixels.

If you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, and general location (country level). If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

10. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

L-Guard is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
