Wrong inventory timing costs thousands

Out-of-stock

Lose BSR, lose Buy Box, lose organic ranking — and customers go to your competitor.

Eight variables, not just sales velocity

Most spreadsheet calculators only do sales / days. Restock Planner accounts for 2026 reality.

Sales velocity (rolling 90-day)Weighted by recency — last 30 days count more than days 60-90.
Supplier lead time + FBA inboundFrom PO to FBA receipt — including ocean/air freight + check-in time.
Chinese New Year shutdownDetects when CNY (Jan-Feb) hits your lead-time window — bumps reorder forward.
DD+7 cash flow timingModels when you'll have the cash to pay supplier deposit and balance — given Amazon's 7-day delivery+7 hold.
Q4 demand surgeAdjusts forecast upward for Prime Day, BFCM, Christmas — using your historical Q4 lift.
Aged storage breakevenCalculates the largest batch that won't trigger 12-month aged storage fees on leftover units.
Low-Inventory-Level fee thresholdKeeps you above the 28-day-supply line to avoid 2026's new hidden penalty.
MOQ & case-pack roundingSnaps batch size to your supplier's MOQ and case-pack increments — no awkward partials.

Common questions

Do I need to connect my Amazon account?
No. You only upload one CSV — the Business Report from Seller Central. No API connection, no credentials needed.
How accurate is the forecast?
Accuracy depends on sales-history stability. For products with 90+ days of consistent velocity, the model is within ±10% of actuals on a 60-day horizon. For new products or those with viral spikes, forecast confidence is lower — and the report flags those ASINs explicitly.
How often should I re-run it?
Quarterly is the sweet spot. Re-run before each major restock decision. You can also re-run if you launch a new product, change supplier, or notice a sales-velocity shift.
How is this different from Forecastly or SoStocked?
Forecastly and SoStocked are subscriptions ($79-89/mo) — you pay every month even if you only reorder twice a year. They also don't model DD+7 cash flow or Amazon's new Low-Inventory-Level fee. L-Guard charges $29 once, you re-run when needed, and the AI factors in 2026 realities those tools haven't caught up to.
Does it work for new sellers with limited sales history?
It works best with 90+ days of sales data. For brand-new products, the AI flags them as "low-confidence forecast" and gives a conservative recommendation based on category benchmarks instead.
