"Stopped working after 2 weeks — and the brand wouldn't help"
By M****** R. · Verified Purchase · Posted 14 days ago
"I bought this for my home gym and it stopped working after 2 weeks. I emailed the brand asking for a refund and they offered me a $30 gift card if I changed my review to 5 stars. When I refused, they stopped responding. Don't trust this seller — they bribe customers. Also my friend ordered the same brand on AliExpress for half the price, so this is just a markup."

Policy Violations Detected (3)

Defamation / False Accusation High Severity
"Don't trust this seller — they bribe customers"
Policy: Customer Reviews · "Reviews must not contain personal information or claims that could be defamatory"
Reviewer makes an unverifiable accusation of bribery as fact. Amazon explicitly bans defamatory claims about sellers. The reviewer presents it as conclusion, not opinion ("they bribe customers" — not "I felt bribed"). This is the strongest of the 3 violations.
Compensated Review / Solicitation Claim High Severity
"...offered me a $30 gift card if I changed my review to 5 stars"
Policy: Customer Product Reviews · Sec. 4.2 "Compensation in exchange for reviews"
Allegation of review manipulation. If true, this violates Amazon's compensation policy (the reviewer should report through proper channels, not within a review). If false, it's a defamatory accusation. Either way, the review itself is non-compliant content.
Off-Topic / Irrelevant Content Medium Severity
"my friend ordered the same brand on AliExpress for half the price"
Policy: Reviews must focus on the product and your experience with it
Pricing comparisons with off-platform retailers are explicitly off-topic per Amazon's review guidelines. Reviewer is using the review for unrelated commentary.
